Battered Cod, Chips and Mushy Peas Recipe
Try this classic Battered Cod, Chips and Mushy Peas recipe, a national dish that you can't help but love!
Our method
Pre heat oven 200°c fan, gas mark 7.
Wash and peel potatoes then slice into chips.
Place the chips on to a baking tray and drizzle with oil place into a preheated oven for 35 minutes.
After the chips have been in for 15 minutes turn and add the battered cod to the oven and follow on pack cooking instructions.
Heat mushy peas as per instructions on the tin or make your own mushy peas from scratch using our homemade mushy peas recipe here.
Serve the cooked battered cod on a plate, with seasoned chips and a side of mushy peas. Squeeze the lemon wedge over the cod and enjoy!
