Green Cuisine Chicken-Free Katsu Curry Recipe

This plant-powered Katsu Chicken-Free curry made with Green Cuisine Chicken-Free Southern Fried Grills is a winner of a weeknight tea. Get ready for cheers from all around the table! 

Our method

  1. Prepare Green Cuisine Southern Fried Chicken-free Grill.
  2. Prepare rice (or noodles).
  3. Boil potatoes and carrots.
  4. Make Katsu Sauce:

    Heat 1 tbsp oil in medium heat and saute the onions and chopped carrots until soft.

    Throw in the garlic and ginger and cook for an extra 30 secs, then add turmeric and curry powder.

    Once the spices are fragrant, sprinkle over the flour and stir well. Add the chicken stock, peanut butter, and honey. Season well, cover and simmer for 20 mins.

    Blitz the sauce with a handheld blender.

  5. Layer in Chicken-Free fillets, potatoes, carrots, and rice a bowl and top with sauce. Garnish with julienned cabbage/spring onions.
